This technology makes it possible to produce bent glass in various shapes, which expands the limits of design solutions.

The bending process is quite slow. The glass must be heated to the bending temperature, then bent and slowly cooled. It is almost impossible to speed up this process.

Basically, architectural glass is bent on a template under the influence of gravity. The glass is heated in a furnace to a certain temperature, which allows it to bend and copy the shape of the template. The free gravity method has its drawbacks; there is often not enough gravity to bend the glass, and the bending must continue by hand. Glass can also be pressed into the required shape, but the equipment for this method is so expensive that it is rarely used.

Traditional methods have high production costs with low productivity, long changeovers and high energy consumption.
