REHAU GENEO HST is a lift-and-slide portal door system designed for large openings. The operating principle of this sliding system is similar to that of a wardrobe. The working sash moves in its plane and enters the other (fixed) sash. The opening of the REHAU GENEO HST lift-and-slide doors is achieved by turning the handle 180 degrees downwards. The sash is lifted a few millimeters, allowing it to move freely on rollers in the opening/closing direction. Lift-and-slide systems are most commonly used in private homes, for example as an exit to a terrace, backyard, or pool area. REHAU GENEO HST lift-and-slide doors are made of an innovative material called RAU-FIPRO. This composite fiber material has high strength due to its fibrous reinforcing structure, allowing for constructions to be made mostly without steel reinforcement. Reliable protection against dust, water, drafts, and heat loss is provided by sealing contours around the entire perimeter of the structure. The seals are made of an innovative material called RAU-PREN. Special middle joint profiles not only guarantee absolute tightness but also allow for different color solutions for the external and internal surfaces of the sash profiles. Decorative profiling can be achieved through lamination or external aluminum cladding.
